I tested the same songs, side by side, with an 08 Porsche Carerra that has a Bose system and the tightness and control of the bass was astounding compared to the M5. Most of the time, it has to do with the volume (cubic feet) of the cabin and how much of that volume your speakers fill keeping in mind objects in their way such as seats, console cargo covers and the location of such speakers.
